We are living in the 21st Century of digital learners... Communication has no walls! Social networking has been a way to connect with students beyond the classroom and may be controversial with some teachers with boundary teacher-student relationships. Thought by some, a teachers life is seperated from personal life, therefore facebook student requests is frowned upon. I was those type of teachers... and im still in the fence about it, but I am slowly adding students to my page with restrictions. At the same time I become hesitant in what to share on FB... either way Im in limbo, but needed to share this post my student posted... touched my heart, you do random simple acts not knowing it was a great thing for the other person. I LOVE MY STUDENTS♥
